The Journey to Getting Your SBA Loan

Securing an SBA loan is an important milestone. Evolve’s role is to ensure the process is clear, streamlined, and predictable from start to finish. This guide outlines what to expect next, how we will support you, and what you can do to help keep everything moving smoothly and successfully.

1. Introduction

We take time to learn about your business, your goals, and your project so we can recommend the best path forward. We will confirm basic SBA eligibility and answer any early questions you have about timeline, requirements, and what to expect.

2. Application

Once you are ready to move forward, we will help you gather the documents needed to build your loan package. You will receive an email asking you to login to your secure portal that will then guide you stepbystep through the document collection process. After the information is gathered, it is discussed with credit, and a Letter of Interest is issued.

3. Underwriting

Your underwriter reviews financials, project details, and your business plan to make sure the loan is set up for longterm success. They will reach out with questions as part of their analysis.

4. Approval

Once underwriting is complete, we will issue your formal commitment and walk you through the terms.

5. Closing

Our closing team coordinates legal documents, insurance, title work, and any constructionrelated items. Once everything is ready, you will sign the closing package and funds can be disbursed.

6. Ongoing Support

Your relationship with us continues well beyond funding. Our servicing team is here to support you throughout the life of your loan—from understanding statements and updating account information to navigating business changes. We also provide reminders for required financial updates and assist you in staying compliant with SBA guidelines.
